Overview and Aim

Mallya Aditi International School was established in 1984 by the Ujwal Educational Trust. It was led by educationalists Anne Warrior and Geetha Narayanan. The school aims to create opportunities for the students to become confident individuals and help the students become independent and encourage them to become sensitive to diversity, be aware of their heritage, and face all the challenges of life. The school is committed to academic excellence and trains individuals who can contribute to the society around us in a meaningful way. The school is home to approximately 650 students of sixteen nationalities. The school offers a global educational system and tries to instil positive social values in the students. The students are given creative freedom, which helps them in self-discovery that equips every student with the necessary skills to face the real world after school.

Academics and Facilities

Mallya Aditi International School is affiliated with the Council for the Indian school certificate Examinations (CISCE). The school is also accredited with the International General Certificate of Education (IGCSE) and the Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE). It is a co-ed school and provides quality education to all its students. The school has a curriculum for its elementary school, which is carefully designed for the students to be acquainted with both eastern and western cultures and methods of education. The students have an option to study two languages from Hindi, Kannada, European, and East Asian languages. The curriculum for classes 1st till 7th is carefully authored by the teaching faculty. It is constantly renewed and revitalized. The students of grades 9th and 10th are given a choice between ICSE and IGCSE, the students of grades 11th and 12th are given a choice between ISC and AICE. IGCSE and AICE are both conducted by the University Of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). The students in grade 12th have to take part in a week-long internship, and all the students must do so.

The school has a large and spacious library and Wi-fi facility. The campus is spread over an area of 5acres. It has a junior science lab and respective physics, chemistry, and biology labs equipped with the best quality apparatus and latest specimens for the teachers to conduct practical sessions for the students to gain in-depth knowledge of the subject and the topic.

Extracurricular Activities

The school believes that education outside the classroom is also very important for a student's holistic and overall development. The school tries to give the students exposure beyond books and academics. The school regularly organizes hikes, educational tours, school excursions, creative and performing arts, work exposure via internships, and social awareness activities. The school believes that these activities will develop the student's confidence and prepare the young adults for the real world outside the school boundaries and make the students strong enough to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing and demanding world.
