General Information

Meridian School, Madhapur, Hyderabad, is a co-educational school in Telangana. The school was established in 2006 and aims to provide good quality education to students. Meridian is a day school affiliated with the CBSE and IB boards and has classes for students till the 12th grade.

The school aims to inspire and empower children to think independently, integrate, excel and contribute to the progress of humanity. It offers students the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) in the pre-primary and primary section. This is offered to students in the nursery till the 5th grade and focuses on the development of the children. In the secondary section, the school follows the CBSE curriculum and prepares students for the All India Secondary and Senior School Certificate Examinations. The school uses English as the medium of communication for most subjects.

Some of the school’s initiatives include the Raising Readers Programme, Life Skills Programme, Syahi: Inter-school Art & Literary Fest and School Enterprise Challenge. The school also encourages students to take part in activities like art & craft, public speaking, radio jockey, western & classical dance, western & classical singing, pottery, oil painting and instruments like drums, keyboard and guitar.

In addition to this, the school also organizes excursions and educational trips where students go on regular field trips to various places. The school also has student exchange programmes with schools from Korea, Africa, UK and Sri Lanka. This helps students learn and experience outside the walls of the classroom and observe cultures other than their own. Meridian also organizes inter-house competitions between students to promote healthy competition among them. Additionally, its students represent the school at interschool events in performing arts, visual arts and sports. This helps develop skills like public speaking, team bonding and builds their confidence for the future.
