After standing tall for 155 great years, Bishop Cotton Boys' School has won the "Eton of the East" accolades and stands out as Bangalore's leading school, one of India's three top-ranked schools among all metro schools in India. The school is affiliated with the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations. It offers the ICSE curriculum at the Std 10 and the ISC curriculum at the Std 12, where Science, Commerce and Humanities are the available streams of study.

Bishop Cotton Boys School, Bengaluru, is an English medium all-boys school. Rev. S. T Pettigrew founded it. The Statue of the founder of Bishop Cotton Boys' School, Rev. S. T Pettigrew, is at the centre of the inspiringly beautiful Founder's Circle. At the heart of the school is one of the most prominent and iconic structures - The Administrative Block, serving as The Principal's office for more than a century. Although St. Peter's Chapel was dedicated in 1911, it inspires hundreds of students who enter its portals.

The School Hall

The School Hall was built in 1872. It was one of the largest school halls in Bangalore. It was constructed under the leadership of Rev. G U Pope. In the same place stands the new tower of the School Hall proudly.

The School Auditorium

Standing on the erstwhile 3rdThird eleven field is now the state of the art Auditorium, The Bishop Edward Lynch Cotton Auditorium. It is also known as the "Great Cottonian Globe".

Sports facilities

The establishment has three different fields for Cricket, Football and Hockey, and Tennis and Basketball Courts. In addition, the Sports Complex with its Swimming Pool, Table Tennis, Billiards Table, Squash Court, Badminton Court and the new Gymnasium is truly a blessing to the students.

Laboratories

The Elphick Resource Centre has the Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Computer Laboratories.
