The International School of Hyderabad gives the school a unique status as it is administered by a foreign/consular mission. The International School of Hyderabad (ISH) is formally controlled by the Director-General of ICRISAT with the help of the ISH School Board guiding the Head of School in leading and managing. The Head of School is in charge of the day-to-day operations. The first IGCSE Cambridge Exams was administered in the year 2003, and the first IB Diploma was conducted the year 2007 when the first class of IB students graduated from ISH. The institution was the first to receive international accreditation from the Council of International Schools (CIS) in India, and it continues to be accredited by CIS and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). The International School of Hyderabad (ISH) is also the first school in Telangana (former Andhra Pradesh) to be authorized to offer education in IB diploma. The school believes in creating the right atmosphere for the students by carefully selecting teachers and other professionals who are trained and well equipped to meet the ever-changing requirements of the students.

Academics

The medium of teaching is English, a co-educational day school that provides education for children between the ages of 4 to 18 years old. At present, our student body comprises over 300 students from more than twenty different countries. The majority of the students at the school is from overseas. Thus, ISH is able to admission a limited number of Indian citizens. The International School of Hyderabad (ISH) believes that each student is unique and skilful. The institution takes an individualized and personalized approach to learning. 

The curriculum incorporates extracurricular and curricular activities along with a good syllabus. The staff in the management is extremely helpful, and each individual is recognized, and each child is given equal attention. The faculty members ensure that every concept is understood and grasped by the students. Separate doubt solving sessions, workshops etc., are arranged for better understanding. The primary aim of the school is to serve the society that acts as a driving force to keep the noble were going.

Campus

The infrastructure of the school is well equipped with the latest technologies LCD projector screen for audiovisual presentation swimming outdoor pool playground for football badminton court cricket ground and various other sports etc. Around 35% of the ISH staff is international, coming from 12 different countries. This is a unique feature of the institution compared to other international schools in Hyderabad. The school’s preferred class size is up to 15 students.
