Overview and aim

The school’s vision is to focus on a curriculum that has a balance of academics and co-curricular activities; the school has a great belief in personality development intending to enable each child to become a global citizen. The curriculum focuses on self-learning and a practical approach to day-to-day concepts. The school has great insight into the holistic and personality development of children. The school strives to introduce leadership qualities in children along with self-discipline, ethical principles, respect, and concern for others.

Academics and facilities

The school curriculum is focused on the intellectual, physical, emotional, creative, and social development of every child. The aim is to nurture students to be cooperative with others, inquisitive and expressive to the rest of the world so the aim to be the leaders of the future. Rockwell International School is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE). The curriculum is strictly CBSE based they are given a choice of 3rd language in 10^th class and students have a variety of three subjects to choose from i.e. Hindi, French, and German. In the 11^th standard, the school provides the students with four streams in a broad category (PCM, PCB, commerce, and humanities) but instead of being standard in the subject selection approach in the 11^th standard the school gives much more freedom to children for choosing the combination of the subjects they desire. Apart from the curriculum, we train the students for competitive exams and interviews for future references and we provide regular parent-teacher meetings so that the parents are fully aware of the growth of their children.

 Extracurricular and Sports

The school provides a great range of extracurricular activities to children of our school from performing arts like dance, music, and painting that allows them to stretch their boundaries and improve their creativity to dramatic arts that encourage children to imagine the dream, and enact their thoughts giving them the freedom to express. The school also has a great range of physical activities in school because physical fitness boasts the overall development of the child, the school provides many sports opportunities like cricket, football, basketball helps to polish the team-building skills like social and interpersonal skills in a child and this results in the wholesome development of a child. The students are trained by professional coaches employed by the school who guide the students and train them in their respective sports.
