Introduction-

The AMS P. Obul Reddy school is a CBSE-affiliated Co-ed school that runs classes from LKG to class 12. The school's founders are Late Padma Vibhushan Dr Durgabai Deshmukh, a renowned public women activist, and Shri Obul Reddy, an eminent industrialist. Both of them played a vital role in their social work and education in society. The school was founded in 1989 and has crossed 30 years, providing education to the people. The institute has been a trend-setter with emphasis on the overall development of children from different financial backgrounds and providing them with knowledge and other facilities. The curriculum is specially handcrafted, taking in mind the wide variety of students present. Smt. Latha Shankar is the acting principal.

The school's mission is to impart education in the 21st century to the students by equipping them with the latest tools and techniques for Teaching - Learning process, keeping the child in mind. The vision is that AMS P.Obul Reddy Public School aims to provide a stimulative and innovative learning environment across the curriculum, with values deep-rooted in our culture, to ensure all children are empowered to meet the challenges of work and life in a rapidly changing global scenario.

Campus: 

With a comprehensive approach and holistic educational technique, the students excel equally in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The students bring awards, merits, laurels in academics and sports every year, making the school proud. The campus has got spacious classrooms for students. Classrooms are equipped with Audio-visual aids that make learning easy through Smart Boards. Two big and large Auditoriums with huge sitting capacities are provided for co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. 

The establishment has modern laboratories for conducting practical classes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Home Science, and Computer science. It has well-stocked libraries with excellent reading rooms. 

A sports complex provides facilities for basketball, Volleyball, Throw ball, Tennis, and Cricket net practising pitch. An threatre for spectators is annexed to the Basket Ball court. A multipurpose hall and indoor sports complex have recently been added to the campus.

Extra-curricular activities-

Various inter-house and inter-school activities take place every year among students. Football, basketball, throwball, kabaddi, and other sports events are organized. In indoor games, chess, carrom, table tennis are being played here. Art and craft, dance rooms, and singing facilities are provided here for the students. Apart from all these, large auditoriums are present to host drama and acting events.
