Overview

Sloka School, Hyderabad, is an English medium co-ed day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education Board(CBSE). The establishment is a non-profit organization, and the trust is equally represented among the school's founders, parents, and teachers. It was established on 13th July 1997 with nineteen students and four teachers. The founder trustees of Sloka School, Hyderabad, were Nirmala Diaz, Suresh Kuppu and Satish Kocharekar. The trust is responsible for the school's financial well-being and monitors the tuition fees, apart from implementing and developing the school's budget. 

It is also responsible for the growth and expansion of the institution. Sloka School, Hyderabad is currently running in its 14th year, with 340 students, 36 teachers, and fourteen support staff members.

Campus

Sloka School's new campus was moved to Aziz Nagar in May 2008. The establishment campus is around three and a half acres with a lush, green garden with a playground and sufficient space to run around for students. The garden houses pet animals like ducks, hens, geese, rabbits and dogs. The institution is located a few kilometres from Gachibowli, a hi-tech city, Kondapur, Madhapur and Mehdipatnam areas of Hyderabad. The establishment also owns a fleet of 10 buses as a transport facility for school students and teachers. Sloka School, Hyderabad, holds a fully functional kitchen providing children with nutritious, delicious, fresh vegetarian food. The structure has been designed by experienced designers of the Waldorf school in Germany – the Tietz.

Academics

The school is affiliated with CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), and class 10th students pass out with a CBSE certificate. English is the medium of instruction, and the establishment offers Hindi and Telugu as second and third languages.
