Academics

Kindergarten

The kindergarten program at Primus school is of 3 years, classified in Nursery, Lower Kgnd Upper KG. The school believes that education on goes beyond writing and just reading. It believes that qualities should be being a good team player, a critical thinker, and empathising with society in today's era. The goal of the institution is to awaken the inner potential.

This program followed Montessori methodology, which includes dance, music, role play, and art. In addition, children are engaged in various activities like themes and festivals. Field trips are also an integral part.

The curriculum is divided into general knowledge, mathematical language, creative development, reading skills, personal, physical, and emotional development.

Primary Program

The children enrolled in this program are taught to meet the challenges of the 21st century. The curriculum is designed to evoke out of box thinking communication, social and interpersonal skills. Subjects include English EVD, Social Studies, computer studies, and mathematics.

Co scholastics include Art, dance, music, theatre, abacus, value, and life skills.

The institution follows ICSE as well as the IGCSE curriculum for grades 6,7, and 8.

AS and A level Programme

Primus provides AS, and A levels in grades 11 and 12The students have complete flexibility to choose their stream. Primus provides an option of two streams, science and commerce.

Co-curricular activities

Co-curricular activities include house activities like quiz debate, public speaking, debate, and creative writing. Clubs include art club, science club, dance, theatre, and music.

Primus has divided students into four houses. This creates a sense of team spirit in the students as they try to win accolades.

Facilities

The facilities include Student Care which includes

1) Medical Attention - There is a well-equipped infirmary. The student's medical record is maintained up to date for reference.

2) Counsellor- There's a counsellor in school to approach students with their concerns. The students recommend counselling by the teacher or parent. 

Tuck Shop - the school has a tuck shop with packaged foods. In addition, the tuck shop sells stationery and books.

Fresh Lunch - The school provides fresh Lunch to the students, and the cook is a well-known five-star hotel chef. The cost of a monthly lunch plan for 30 days for grades 1 to 3 is 1600, and Grade 4 to Grade 12 is 1200.
