Introduction

The Glendale Academy is a school located in the Golkonda region of Hyderabad, India. Anjum Babukhan founded the school in 2003 to amalgamate both the Indian and Western educational systems. It is an international school affiliated with the CBSE board and currently headed by Principal Kiranjit Singh Pannu. Glendale's SMC Board comprises leaders and maestros from Glendale Education and parents, educational consultants, and educators from other eminent schools. The SMC is a school that helps the students stay on course as they strive to deliver a cutting-edge educational experience to the students.

Campus-

Glendale Academy is placed in a beautiful valley, in a serene, pollution-free environment - a 15 minutes drive from Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The sprawling 10-acre campus and 2,25,000 sq ft of buildings serve as an ideal environment for the students. The beautifully landscaped campus cradles facilities for a wide range of sports, extra-curricular and outdoor activities. The need to provide for the burgeoning number of students led to creating yet another dining hall in the senior block. Thus, today Glendale Academy has two well-equipped dining halls with trained and talented chefs, serving more than 1800 students and the teachers and support staff. In addition, Glendale Academy is well-equipped to handle any minor injuries or health issues that students may experience. The school also has made efforts in digitizing the medical records of the students.

Extra-curricular activities-

Glendale has all the modern facilities for sports with well-trained and experienced coaches. In addition, the school provides sports facilities like-Cricket, football, tennis, basketball, and swimming. 

It also has indoor facilities like chess, karate, badminton, skating and table tennis. The school also focuses on developing visual and cultural skills like drama, singing, music, crafts, debates, literary arts, painting, and designing.

Facilities-

Glendale Academy International has always had a child-centric learning environment, and all its policies ranging from infrastructure to security, are child friendly. To enact the policy of child safety, the school has drafted some guidelines. More steps are undertaken through campus surveillance, controlled movement, properly trained males and female security staff. In addition, the school provides bus services to a range of routes within the city. Glendale Academy, with its scientifically designed curriculum, focuses on delivering brain-based learning. Over the years, we have concluded that there are many reasons for anxiety amongst senior students, like sky-rocketing cut-offs, lack of knowledge of good study options within and outside India, complicated admission processes.
